In May 2023, the company brought together key team members and client partners for its Retirement Planning Services (RPS) Client Forum, held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
The event convened approximately 100 attendees—half Lincoln employees and half HR professionals from the organization’s client base—creating a unique opportunity to foster connection across internal teams and external stakeholders. With workforce dynamics shifting and leadership challenges rising, Lincoln Financial sought a keynote speaker who could deliver practical tools for building cohesive, adaptable, and forward-focused teams.
Cara Brookins was selected to headline the forum with her presentation “Build Unstoppable Teams.” In a dynamic 50-minute session followed by Q&A, Cara shared her story of leading through adversity and offered actionable strategies to strengthen collaboration, resilience, and ownership across all levels of an organization.
