        A Harvest of Friends!

A Harvest of Friends is so much fun!  Many children enter the story as the isolation of summer ends.  Everyone is happy to be back at school in the fall because the farm harvest has kept them so busy.

A new family, the Walkers, have moved to Tomah.  Many of the town's people are reacting unkindly toward them.  They are from the large city of Chicago and are very different than the people of Tomah, or at least everyone seems to think so.

In the midst of a crisis, Doris opens her heart to the family and the entire town learns a valuable lesson about caring and prejudice.

I'm currently looking for a publishing house or an agent to represent this completed novel.  Email me for a full synopsis.

     Doris Free - Sequels!

I have outlined a total of six Doris Free novels.  Neighbor to Neighbor and Harvest of Friends are complete.  I am half way into Giving Thanks, a story that throws Doris and her family into a flu epidemic at Thanksgiving time.

The next three novels contain the following topics

   Christmas - Giving and Receiving

Spring - Planting Seeds and so much more

Summer -  The Robinson Players,  traveling actors

If you have an idea for one of Doris' adventures, send me a note!
