I don't know as many stories about Doris' Dad. I think he was a very quiet man. That is him sitting on the front of the car in the photo. He looks relaxed and confident. He was a good farmer and really loved the animals and especially loved the horses.

His family was very important to him and he loved his children very much. He also loved dogs. I don't know if the dog in the photo is his or not, he sure looks like a friendly farm dog though, doesn't he?
